The year 2017 marks the 70th Anniversary of Aurora's 88 and to celebrate, Aurora is producing 8 new solid colors throughout the year. Each is being designed with a special flex nib which was developed especially for this Limited Edition.

Each of the eight colors will be made in house by Aurora, even the nib. Each of the colors will be limited to 188 pieces and less than half will be released in the United States. Each of the writing instruments is composed of a hand mad resin and comes with an ebonite feed to compliment the flex nib.The 88 has Aurora's piston filler design with built in ink reserve.
